Our Core Beliefs
1.Women’s Activities:
- Formation of SHG’s, training and development, capacity building. Credits linkages with Banks.
- Celebrating world women’s Day, observational of international day for elimination of violence against women,
- Conduct workshops / seminars/ training on domestic violence and socio economic sustainable development, women rights, Family counseling, couple sensitization, gender equality and Leadership
2.Children Activities:
- Running Skill Development Centre, Distribution of Educational Materials, Conduct talent identification events, Career guidance and counseling and Behavior modification therapy
- Observation of important days for children.
- Conduct workshops / seminars on leadership qualities, personality development and basic life skill education, parliamentary discussion
- Traditional cultural training.
3.Adolescent’s boys and girls:
- Conduct seminars on consequences of child marriage and early pregnancy. Reproductive Tract infection, sex and sexuality sessions for both genders.
- Need based counseling services.
4.Youth:
- Sessions on consequences of drug abusive and alcohol and its impact.
- Pre-marital counseling
5.Men:
- Sessions on consequences of alcohol and family disorganization
- Seminar on stages of drug addiction.
- Conduct awareness on oral cancer, TB and Hiv/aids.
6. Enrichment of agriculture and enhancement of environmental activities:
- Distribution of timber tree saplings to the poor farmers towards a Livelihood support.
- Educate the school children about the consequence of global warming and importance of plantation of tree saplings to preserve the environment.
7.Old age Home:
- A roof over their head is an essential need of the elder who are impoverished, sick, and abandoned by family and those uprooted by disasters. Jeeva Anbalayam Trust has keeping in mind the vulnerability of elders and the elders are given uncompromised attention and service where facilities including shelter, food, entertainment, recreation and medical care facilities are provided at free of cost.
8. Cultural Training Program:
We provide cultural training program for NGO’s staff to equip their skills. The list of events is:
1. Traditional dance

9. COMPLETED PROJECTS:
- National Child Labour Project funded by Chennai Corporation
- Survey on Drop out Children funded by AID INDIA
- One-time Grant funded by Tamil Nadu Social Welfare Board.
- Children skill Development Program
- Annual Status of Education report (ASER) for school going children funded by Pratham Education Foundation
- Survey among sanitary workers in zone 6 under Greater Chennai Corporation funded by Tamil Nadu Municipality Administration and Water Development Authority.
