Stories of Real Transformation
Selvi was a daily wage worker earning ₹200 a day with three children to support after her husband's illness. JAT enrolled her in a tailoring skill development program and helped her form a self-help group. Within 18 months, she established her own tailoring unit and now earns ₹15,000 per month.
Rajan was about to drop out of school in Class 9 due to financial constraints. JAT's education support program provided him with free coaching, textbooks, and a monthly scholarship. He went on to score 92% in his board exams and is now pursuing an engineering degree.
At 74, Ammachi was living alone after her children migrated to the city. JAT's elderly care volunteers began weekly visits, provided regular medical check-ups, and connected her with a community support network. She now participates in JAT's senior citizens' group and describes it as 'a new family.'
